Het geweer schiet, de kolf treft. Schiet u te vaak mis? Schoudert het geweer niet prettig? Voelt de kolf niet goed aan? Het antwoord is simpel. Kom langs om de kolf te passen. Bij het aanpassen van een kolf komt aanzienlijk meer kijken dan wat standaard maten.

Bij het aanpassen van de kolf wordt gelet op:

- oogdominantie

- het soort geweer het gebruiksdoel zoals b.v. jacht of kleiduivenschietsport.

- lichaamsbouw en lichaamshouding

-schiettechniek

Deze gegevens worden vertaald naar de specifieke kolvenmaten zoals:

- lengte

- diepte

- buiging

- pitch

- vorm en grootte van de greep

- afstand tot trekker

- vorm van het wangstuk

Vervolgens wordt of de bestaande kolf aangepast of wordt er een nieuwe kolf gemaakt. Ook is het mogelijk om tussentijds nog een controle van de maten uit te voeren in de werkplaats of het geweer mee te nemen naar de schietbaan.

Browning kolf met verlengde greep (voor mensen met grote handen) en met hout verlengde achterkant.

As the old adage goes: the gunmaker makes a gun shoot. The stockmaker make the gun hit the target. Are you missing your targets to often? Does your stock not feel right?

There is a lot more to gunfitting than just adjusting a few basic measurements.

During the fitting session attention will be paid to:

- eye dominance

- type of gun/rifle and its use

- build en posture of the shooter

- shooting technique

These data will then be transferred into the specific stock measurements like:

- lenght of pull

- drop or bend

- cast

- pitch

- shape and size of the grip

- distance to the trigger

- shape of the cheekpiece/comb

The next step is to either adapt the existing stock or build a new one. During the stock alterations it is possible to have an intermediate check of stock fit at the work shop or at the shooting range.
